New section!

In an attempt to stave off my boredom of doom before I leave for Taiwan, I am taking advantage of the excellent cinematic offerings at the 10th annual Cinefan's Osian Film Festival, which is currently on in Delhi. I've seen four films so far, so I thought it would be fun to review them here, which of course necessitated a new section.

As always, I hope you'll enjoy reading my reviews and letting me know what you think. My tastes are eclectic, and while I've watched a good deal of foreign films, my exposure to the 'classics' of Hollywood is rather limited, so if you have suggestions for me, please pass them on!

My first star

So, I'm not quite sure what the stars stand for, but I'll admit, it was a pretty big thrill to get that email informing me that I had received my first star. Therefore, to whoever was kind enough to bestow this star upon me, my heartfelt thanks to you.

I hope you all enjoy reading my rambles, and it's nice to get some kind of positive feedback once in a way.

Hello, everyone!

So, I'm Maya. I'm 22, I graduated from Wesleyan University in May, and I am moving to Taiwan in a month and a half. I love to travel, and have spent significant amounts of time living in the United States, India, and France. I am a voracious reader, an obsessive follower of news and politics, and someone who loves to write. I also enjoy singing, cooking, baking, and meeting new and interesting people, so hopefully PNN will prove to be a nice home for me.
