Elizabeth Bennett, meet the Zombies

Elizabeth Bennett, meet the Zombies

I am a huge Austen fan, having loved Pride and Prejudice since around age 12 (not that I really understood the intricacies of Austen's social commentary, but luckily I had the fantastic BBC video adaptation to fill in the blanks), and recently finished reading Sense and Sensibility as part of my 50 book challenge for the year, which I also thoroughly enjoyed.

The book I am dying to get my hands on now (no pun intended) is Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Yes, zombies,  Apparently some genius had the idea of taking the plot of Pride and Prejudice and inserting zombies into the plot, which I personally think is fantastic.  I don't know that it's out yet in India, but I may have to go hunting for it sometime soon, because it sounds absolutely hilarious.

Has anyone out there read it already? If you did, what did you think? Love it? Hate it? Tell me why!
